Psychiatrist Medical Director – Behavioral Health Services

TidalHealth is seeking a Psychiatrist Medical Director to provide clinical and strategic leadership for behavioral health services across our growing health system. This unique opportunity offers a predominantly outpatient clinical practice while providing oversight and direction for behavioral health programs throughout the organization.

As Medical Director, you will partner with physician, administrative, and operational leaders to enhance access, quality, and integration of behavioral health services across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. This role is ideal for a physician leader who enjoys patient care while helping shape the future of behavioral health on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Position Highlights

• Predominantly outpatient clinical practice
• Medical Director oversight for system-wide behavioral health services
• Leadership of behavioral health strategy, quality initiatives, and program development
• Collaborate with executive leadership on service line growth and workforce planning

• Support and mentor psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $450,000 – $550,000, commensurate with experience
• Medical Director stipend included
